Easy View to See the Hollywood Sign Without Hiking

There are several spots to see the Hollywood Sign, and even just getting a glimpse through the streets of Hollywood, but usually there’s a good hike up the hill to get closer like at the Griffith Observatory.

I just wanted a quick pic, and the easiest way without having to hike is at the Lake Hollywood Park, located at 3160 Canyon Lake Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90068.

As you can see below, it wasn’t that busy in the park, although it was a Tuesday. There’s plenty of space for you to get that cute Hollywood sign pic!

You can park along the street and get a really good view of the sign, just like I did below on my phone.

And if you take photos with a 70-200mm lens, you can get extremely close to the sign, as if you’re right in front of it! Like these photos below, it looks like I’m closer than I am! I just sat on top of the car, and was able to get these cute quick pics with the Hollywood sign.

My sister got this cropped ‘Los Angeles’ t-shirt for me awhile go, because she always knew deep down I was an LA girl 😂. I thought it was the perfect time to wear it, especially exploring the beloved Hollywood. I was also able to see Selena Quintanilla’s Walk of Fame star for the first time, and was excited at how quick I found it, located right in front of Capitol Records.
